The Annual Baseball Camp at The Hun School of Princeton is an all-round skills camp focusing on baseball fundamentals and conditioning. Bill McQuade, The Hun School Varsity Baseball Coach, will lead the camp and be assisted by a talented group of instructors comprised of alumni and current players. The camp will be held August 3rd to 7th. Campers will be able to enhance their knowledge and skills in every aspect of the game. There will be instruction and focus on fundamentals including sportsmanship, hitting mechanics, bunting, fielding – footwork and throwing; pitching – delivery, balance, grips; catcher skills – receiving, throwing, blocking; base-running; field position skills work; team defense; cut offs and relays. The experienced and dedicated staff will provide every camper the opportunity to build character and sportsmanship, increase the knowledge level of the game of baseball, enhance personal skills and confidence, and provide tools to improve one’s game. Campers will make new friends and baseball memories.
The Jonathan Stone Raider Basketball camp feature sindividualized instruction, low camper-instructor ratio, qualified staff, quality teaching, competitive games and prizes. The emphasis of the camp is to teach and develop th enecessary skills to become better basketball players. Such skills as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, rebounding, screening and most importantly team play will be emphasized. Jon Stone is the Hun School's varsity basketball coach. The daily schedule will consist of warm-up, stations, lecture and 3 on 3 games.
